From the Advisory Group to Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada:
Dear Judy,
This is a letter of appreciation for the excellent input that you have provided as a member of the Advisory Group to Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada regarding the development of a breed description for the horse population. whose breeders are currently represented by the Canadian Sport Horse and Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Associations.
Your great depth and wide range of knowledge, expertise and objectivity in the areas of horse breeding, evaluation and the other areas associated with the equine disciplines is clearly evident and your comprehensive research and clear, structured thinking have been of great help to us. I am firmly of the opinion that your objective and analytical approach to certain equine issues, that have often been viewed in a very subjective manner, has very considerable merit.
I would sincerely hope that the approach that you promote and demonstrate will be widely adopted because to me it represents methodology based on well founded observations and the result of some very analytical and objective thinking on the subject.
Once again I would like to thank you for your efforts with respect to the Advisory Committee process. Should anyone request our opinion on where to obtain the services of an expert on equine matters we will not hesitate to recommend you.
Sincerely,
Dr Graham Clarke
Director /Animal Industry Division, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada
